Lucas had his best game for us today. Just a powerhouse in defence and with the ball. Whilst still across all the small effort areas like a rep quality footballer. Quality quality prospect.

Woke up thinking we'd be a much better team with the style we play if we had someone who could kick the ball more than 35 metres...
Get's pretty old having the opposition start their sets on their 30m line while we're coming from deep inside the 20m

There were a couple of sets in the second half where Cogger kicked twice in a row, and we went from comfortable field position to defending our own line, purely from him lobbing it down Meaney’s with a 30 metre kick. No time for the chasers to get anywhere near him before he caught it because there was no height to it either. It was very depressing.
Was disheartening to see that. Wasn’t a midfield bomb, just merely didn’t get good enough purchase on it. Then a set or two later, to my shock, Hasting belted the **** out of it and got it down to Storms 15m.
I think Cogger ended up pulling g a groin muscle around that point. Unsure if that was a reason for it.
Fairly certain Cogger has a pretty decent boot in him.
Long kicking game seems to be a missing art in playmakers.
