NRL Round 11 - Knights Vs Eels - 6:00pm Friday 16 May - McDonald Jones Stadium

He played Flegg last week so unlikely but Wilson De Courcey is probably the most in-form winger out of all the potential debutants.
DeCourcey in a helluva golden patch of form, very confident to back himself from round 1. Helped by having a quality centre inside of him in Harley and if you watch his highlights thus far the final ball to him has been some sublime balls from Toby Winter. That kid is on a very exciting trajectory.

But on DeCourcey if he continues to have a good season and a strong NRL pre season he could be come another version of Marzhew with his body type and aggression. Minus the mistakes - more 2023 Marzhew.

Not saying I’d throw him in the bin but he needs to improve his work rate a lot before even being considered for FG.
He wouldn't be a massive impact impact off bench no, not this yr, but a just reward for recovering from an ACL injury and putting in the hard yards. We've seen Forwards bloom late and Knights let go of them too early. Like to think we give Bryan all the time he needs. Last weeks game his first 30mins was very impressive, he and Greacen were very strong and might revel getting a chance alongside Jsaf. He's also a strong defender,

It’s time to give some of these young guys a chance and gain some experience. I remember a young Josh Perry coming through with a body build not unlike Bryan.
Put some of the best of them on the bench occasionally as we need them to see what NRL is like. Some of them might surprise us all.

Season is done already so AOB should just start blooding the old young ones that he thinks are the future.

Agree we aren’t done yet but the tightrope we are walking is a bit wobbly.
Also agree with giving our better young fwds a go in top grade, rotate one of them every week or two to the bench and give them 20 mins or so to see how they handle it.

Leo and Marz are big outs. We lose some of that go forward we need. Hopefully Hethro is available. The game is simple, hold on to the ball, minimise errors and penalties. If we have go forward we can score points.

I wouldn’t say season done just yet. It’s a tight comp still. Would give it a few more weeks before we throw in the towel.

I say our season is done purely based on the fact we still are gifting teams the wins against us with our basic school boy errors and ball control.

Our performances have really been horrible and quite embarrassing. We have literally only had two games where we played for the full 80.

I agree with you we are playing like a hat full of busted *** holes. But it's too early to start "blooding" young guys. Until we are well and truly done, that happens. And yes, the way we are going, that is a strong possibility over the next month or two.

Cant over Hetherington when we’re struggling for size in the forwards is…interesting. Hopefully some changes before kick off, especially Cogger gone.

AOB: “I might need to make changes.”

Also AOB: Basically unchanged with the exemption of a rookie winger and a forward reshuffle due to a concussed player.

F*** me. We’re basically gifting the 2 points to Parra. May as well just tell them to stay in Sydney and enjoy the automatic W.

Obi really shaking up things with 2 injury forced changes. Cogger continuing to be rewarded for his stellar performances too I see. Jesus wept.

I actually don't care....I'm expecting a loss, don't really care if we get a win.

AOB is an A grade clown....... straightener still in the squad and only other changes are forced.......geez he really sent a message to the squad
