On Sharpe, I can’t see any obvious contact there? It’s his left knee, away from contact. Looked like he clutches the outside as well.

I still can’t figure out why there’s no ice on there? Is he feeling fine and this is purely precautionary? Is he coming back? Genuinely a little puzzled.
 
What I wanted was for us to play positive footy and I was prepared to accept some very ropey stuff in D carrying some very marginal players in the forward rotation. And that’s what we got. It will take time to get the balance right but we are creating opportunities.

Every time Brown & Ponga combine Kalyn is roaring into acres of space he hasn’t seen in a while. It looked to me like Fletcher was getting his hands on the ball and being trusted to actually play like a half a lot more on his edge in yardage, besides the kicking but that’s not necessary when you have a strong kicker at fullback. The first 20 minutes was a good argument for the idea he’s so dynamic that you just wear the iffy moments in structure.

Sandon spent a whole season doing an alright job of teeing up Teddy on that edge. We know he’s trained there so we just have to trust him to bring Kalyn onto the ball.

If it's a ligament issue then I don't think ice will have any impact?

But they don't think it's a ligament, so a bit confusing.

And for Ponga to trust him too.

Could be very easy for Ponga to spend the entire second half trying to make something with Brown.

Need to see him get back to his preferred side a little more. Otherwise we just have Best and Marzhew taking yardage runs at 3 defenders.
