NRL Round 1 - Knights Vs Cowboys - 1:15pm Sunday 1st March (AEDT) - Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas

Are their any front rowers in the lower grade that's ready to step up and do a better job off the bench?

Jsaf by the length of the straight.

Mooney is a weird one, I kept a close eye on him as I wasn't impressed during pre-season. He doesn't run the ball very hard coming off the line but every once in a while (generally when we have a roll on or in an attacking area) he rips off a big run.
Jacob was amazing. Mooney’s rep is as a second stint specialist and he was pretty good in that first stint overall so that’s promising.

I'd have been inclined to take the two there, just to get our nose back in front and help us relax.

Normally nrlphysio is accurate but where is he getting that from without a scan?
Guessing like the rest of us I think.

Physio can generally feel a full rupture of ACL or PCL with the drawer test. They can also usually illicit a response if it’s meniscus with that twisting and rolling test. They can also generally get a feel for lateral and medial ligaments.

The fact they gave him the all good to return to play, means there wasn’t any obvious laxity, which is positive.

I guess the fear is that there’s a “partial” or “sprain” there somewhere, and while it may feel structurally sound, it is more susceptible to a full ruptured.

As somebody who partially (85%) did their ACL, they probably want to see if it’s rehab or surgery.

BUT FOR THE LOVE OF JOEY, GIVE THE BOY SOME ICE!!
