No problem for Houston with Knights

I actually never realised he was on a mini streak! Good on him, hasn't missed a game since he joined the club and IMO is on the verge of rep honours in the future.

And geez he has been pretty quiet giving away those penalties this year - something he's been working on he says.
 
ya i was on the "houston haters" bandwagon last year cause of those penalties and stupid offloads but **** hes turned it around this year, couldnt be happier with him

MD said “You can teach a rider to stay on the bike, you can not teach hime how to ride quick!”

I think the same about Houston, you can teach a player discipline, you cannot teach him skills that he was naturally born with.
 
One of the great Brian Smith signings, this guy. Amazed that the Dragons didn't wrap him up, especially since he had big wraps on him over there.
 
All the Dragons fans I know are less than impressed at the club letting Houston go.

It's amazing how some of the players have gone over the last year. Many of the current in form players were heavily criticize when they first came in.

Houston for his penalize, Wicks for his fitness, Rogers for his skills etc. Good to see that they have shown us why Smith has the faith in them.
 
going great this year less penalties and no silly offloads doing well in the front row, but id prefer him in the back row . keep it up Houston
 
Yeah his been awesome,his gotta be me fav player,i wana see him out wide more tho his damaging as out wide!! and if his not a clone of david fairleigh ill turn it up lol

90% of people on this forum were "Houtson Haters" or maybe I should say Bandwagoners.

Knew he would be a solid signing for us.
 
I can admit I wasn't a fan of Houston last season and I think I had reason not to be. The stupid penalties he was giving away combined with unnecessary offloads was driving me up the wall. To his credit, this season he has turned all that around and been great for us. Good for him.
 
houston has always had the potential but the difference between this year and last year is hes playing alot tougher, i thought he got dominated abit too much last year and its not happening this year.

Certainly, he gave away a lot of penalties and made a lot of errors. It wasn't ever a stage where heaps of people wanted him out of the team, that I can recall, just that we wished he would get these things out of his game.

Just because lots of people notice the same thing, doesn't make it a bandwagon. In this case I reckon the concerns were definitely warranted.
