Not really, poor defence in the first half is what cost us. How soft are some of the tries we conceded? The one just before halftime was the worst, I think it was Paterson who just didn't bother sliding across and they crossed from Anasta's inside ball without a hand hardly being laid on them.

MacDougall was within his rights to throw that pass, we were ahead at the time and another try would have sealed the game. Given the way we picked up our tries (a kick and running it twice on the last tackle) we weren't looking much like breaking them, so you have to go with those chances when you get them.
 
I tend to agree with you to an extent. However going down with the ball on the 3rd Option would have been the better option. As you said we were in front.

I watched the game live and saw him go down and was worried cause he was great defensive wise for the knights. Something like 36 tackles??

Does anyone know if hes ok though cause i think i can remember him shaking hands with players at the end of the match so he must of come back on :?
 
I hope he is ok, He has turned about to be a great signing. Him and Vuna absolutely ripped up last night.

MOTM for the Knights though was Mitchell Sargent, **** hes on fire!
 
Mitch Sargent has a calf injury and will likely miss a few matches and Taia has a shoulder injury and will need to have scans 2 c how bad it is.

I was just waatching the Sunday footy show, and if the warriors win today, we are 4 points behind the top 8. Realistically, with our for an againest, we are gunna have 2 win 3 games, and at least 1 team in the top 8 lose 3, just to get back in the 8 and then we have 2 keep winning 2 stay there. I hate 2 say it but I think we are gone. :(
 
Fu***** Bull*** I cannot believ it, we have friggin thrown this season away. Look at our top side on paper and we shud be bloody top 5 contenders with our depth and young players stepping up. 38 frigging injuries . 1 game with a win by more than 6. -150 points differential. Things just don't go our way and it is really fu***** frustrating. Maybe next year boys. :(

well it is dissapointing that we havnt played to our potential this year due to the ammount of injuries. But i think if at the start of the season if we knew that johns would only play 1 full game we would take our position anyday.

We have to look at the bright side, due to the injuries our young players have gained a lot of experience that will be useful in a few years when we become serious title contenders.

Walsh could have still been playing in premier league, Seu Seu wouldnt of had the ammount of exposure he has had, we might not of signed taia, Sargent Could still of been stuck behind perry and woolnough, etc etc

true that. i think walsh was the great thing to take out of 2007. he has been playing like hes been there for a couple of years and hes only played 3/4's of a season. with this years experience he'll be gunning it next year and wen u really think about it if we didnt need to give him a run with joey retiring we might not have even re-signed him.
 
Yea true, although the injuries killed our season, the exposure that the young guys like, walsh, paterson and stuff got would be better for us in the long run (2008+)
 
Aww more injuries~! WE have done well to get to where we are on the ladder considering the injuries and also the retirement of johnsy.
