Nobody said Hilder should be picked in SOO over Bird. For you to argue that Hilder only won players player because we didn't have all these SOO and international players in our side is really disrespectful. He gives his all every game and deserved the recognition.

That's absolutely on the money.

From memory Hilder was about the 11th best player in the comp in Supercoach in 2009 when he spent the majority of the season as an eighty minute lock. Obviously Supercoach is a bad way to rate players, but it just shows the level of contribution that he was making to the side, and that he wasn't just a half-decent player in a team of duds. He would have been great no matter what side he was in.
 
James I am not bagging him but instead refering to the current team.

I am a supporter of the knights since 1988. so definately watched been to alot of footy


Hilder in the old team would be starting 13

But in the current team his position is not as safe with guys like Costigan Houston Mckinnon doing enough.

Don't go calling a post pathetic when you obviously can not see that Hilder offers bugger all NOW under Bennetts structure.
with the depth and other contributors

Buderus playing 80 mins = no Hilder

Hilder avg 5/8

Costigan = offers the same thing as Hilder

Mckinnon getting better with gametime = no Hilder

Please tell me where I am wrong, or is it you thinking you are superior only!

Hilder yes has been the best over the last few years but things change

Last I looked Hilder won his Player's Player and Club Player awards ahead of Gidley, Uate, Houston, Mullen etc ... all of whom are rep players.

He hasn't got much gametime this year, but I don't see why that's an excuse to bag his previous performances for us ... as I said ... pathetic.

Would you pick Hilder over Thaiday

If Hilder was playing at the broncos he would not crack the 17

It is starting to get that way here

Maybe recent years he has been safe but not now

I reckon Johnno is not far off the mark. If the Coach is going to use Hilder as a minor contributor from the bench he's better off leaving him out all together. That is why I suggested Hilder look for another club where he might get a fair crack.

can who ever runs the twitter on hear ask why he hates the Knights so much. In every post/article i have read there is an obvious hatred towards the Knights! (Buz i mean) And in reply to Aidos's reply :)
 
I actually thought Buzz use to like the Knights, until Tinkler took over. That's when all the bagging started I reckon.

Oh and the massive butthurt he had when we signed Snowden. He tried to convince everyone he was extremely overrated, when you could tell by the way the article was written, he was just very angry :lol:

Oh, I didn't know that it was Buzz that did that.

I remember him saying the Knights were his second favourite team because he grew up in the Hunter area ... Well, he's done a bad job of showing it!
