New Zealand vs England

Missed the game as i thought it was tonight but anyways, sounded like a pretty one sided match, keen to see what Luke did! But as i said a few days ago, England deserved it more on form & this is the result i was expecting. Should be a great final, real shame New Zealand have been so average this year though. Their only win in 2011 was against Wales! :|

How did England deserve it more? Whoever won that game deserved it! New Zealand didn't get 40 points scored against them at any stage in the tournament ...

England were playing with all the enthusiasm and might of Great Britain, while the Kiwis just looked half assed all tournament. I like the Kiwis but they just didn't impress this year in my opinion, you can't say the Kiwis were playing enthusiasm at all this tournament, they'll get better with returning players. But thruth is England wanted it more from the start so i feel like they deserved it more before the game even started.

NZ played with plenty of enthusiasm in all three Four Nationa games ... I was proud of their effort in the third match. Compared to Aus and England their squad sucked ... How many debutants in the backline? Four?

It's rubbish to say they weren't enthusiastic and didn't want to win.

That had more to do with the incompetence of selectors. Sau missing out for two backrowers please. The Kiwis really struggle in England for some reason maybe because the grounds tend to have slower games that take Marshall and Luke out of the contest. I think I was debating you on Kearney earlier and I would not write him off yet but he really needs an experience assistant.

I don't think Sau was the difference between winning and losing. Overall the team was pretty much they could have chosen with all the withdrawals.

Like Quinny said, the reason New Zealand were average this tournament may well have been due to the fact it was in Enlgand, with different conditions. I didn't think of that but to me it just didn't look like the playmakers were trying hard.
