This is definitely the most anticipated test of the year so far for me.

I'm expecting an epic clash!!!

No teams named yet.

Anyone else staying up for it? I'll be yabbering away about the game here if anyone else is keen. :)

Lol... Only say that, cause I think they'll be easier in the final!!

I spose that's a backhanded compliment, but I still don't like it!!! haha

As for the game, I remember back in 2009 when NZ played England I called it before the game on here that NZ would lose. Just had the feeling that they weren't going to fire and they'd take England a bit lightly.

I really don't think that will happen this time ... it will be close, but I think NZ know what they're up against and how tough it will be, but have the mettle to come out on top. They have been improving every match ... I also think they'll give Australia a hell of a battle in the final.

Woke up a bit late and only saw the last five minutes of the first half, grr. 8-0 to England, c'mon Kiwis!!! They have been a second half team in this tournament, so fingers crossed they overcome England's lead.

Luke on report again and penalised a few seconds before halftime. Imo while it was a lame play, you see it quite a bit and it's never penalised. If it wasn't Luke - no penalty and 6-0 at the break.

Added after 11 minutes:

England score early in the second half to make it 12-0. Penalty count currently 9-2 to England.

After weeks of getting away with absolutely anything under Phil Bentham, the Kiwis are getting caned by Ben Cummins.

Added after 4 minutes:

Sorry, Ceccin, not Cummins!

Added after 12 minutes:

On the scoreboard with 20 to go, thank goodness! 14-6 to England ... Two more tries to go between the Kiwis and victory!

Added after 5 minutes:

Very soft penalty given to England ... High tackle from Marshall that didn't actually touh the head or neck! 16-6, 13 to go.

Added after 8 minutes:

Oh dear, England strip the ball in a two on one tackle five metres out from their own line, race 90 metres and score a couple of plays later. England in the final.

In other news I'm putting a price on Ceccin's head. I wanna go Andrew Johns on his ***!!! >:-(

Penalty count 11-4 I think. :-(

A blind man could have seen there were two in that tackle.

@James, did England deserve the game, or do you think the penalty count cost NZ? Because it really seems like England has upped their game.

The reffing was frustrating, but England were deserved winners. NZ had their chances but couldn't score more than one try.

I was left pretty proud of the Kiwi side though, looking at the players they had, they did NZ proud. Just a shame that all those players who managed to finish the NRL season, couldn't go the extra mile and make themselves available for the Kiwis. Looking at you Hohaia, Vatuvei, Johnson, Inu, etc ...

NZ did a few cheap shots, which was disappointing. Just frustration I guess. Luke is still the man.

James, i was a bit disappointed in Marshall. Instead of running the game he just seemed to be intent on picking a fight with Rangi Chase....who is supposed to be his best mate??? lol

Marshall hasn't had the best series ... I think he's felt the pressure of trying to spark things. I also have to say I'm beginning to doubt Kearney's coaching ability (after laying into someone on here who dared to say the same thing a few months ago! ). The attack was terrible today, no depth, no moves ... let's face it, Kearney has only won the World Cup with Bennett there, and the Four Nations final last year, when Bennett also came in for one week!

But anyway, the whole Kiwi attack seemed to rest on Marshall creating something from nothing in this tournament, and it was too much for him, as it would be for most players.

The tactics from the whole side were terrible, but they did try their guts out.

Very well done to England, but I will be cheering for Aus in the final. :)

Best performance from England in quite a while.

Sorry, missed this one. They were great. Their best since they knocked the Kiwis out in 09!!!

Bit of a recurring nightmare!
