Oh and just because Myles has played rep and Hilder hasnt doesnt make Myles a better player. You should well know there are players who play rep that shouldn't have and players who havent and should have...

I agree with most of this, but Myles is a better player hands down. He has deserved every rep jumper thrown his way.
 
Hilder IMO is massively underrated, but not by his team mates they all know the hard work he puts in... his tackling is technically great he usually dominates every time, he is out of position and still doing a great job
 
Myles is a gun, signing him and snowden will finally allow them to dump Tui, Kaufusi, Tolar, Southern etc..
The club won't be living in the past that's for sure :)

Agreed, I'd keep Tuimavave though he's much better then the other 3 and deserves a spot in the 17.
 
Myles 85 metres per game, 32 tackles per game. 0 linebreaks, 4 offloads, 15 missed tackles, 4 errors, 7.6m/r
Hilder 86 metres per game, 33 tackles per game, 3 linebreaks, 7 offloads, 17 missed tackles, 5 errors, 6.9m/r while playing out of position for 6 out of the 7 games.

Hilder would be on less money then if we got Myles I'd assume.

Agreed, we should also get rid of Gidley, Mullen, Henry, because there is always going to be someone better, we should just buy the australian team with Nightingale for Morris, and Marshall for Lockyer. Then we'll show them
 
Yeah it's the only way to win a comp, if a player isn't one of the best in his position
then get rid of him otherwise don't whinge when u never win a comp.
 
YES PLEASE. Can you imagine our forward pack if we signed Snowden and Myles, would be AWESOME. I think if we can get those 2 and Beau Champion to play centre next year that will do with signings and we will have a great side for next year

Is it just me or is anyone else thinking the same thing....
were all whinging about how it seems the titans are operating out of the salery cap.
But yet its ok for us to say yeah we will have boyd,snowden,myles,champion,idris and whoever else thats linked to the club.
To me thats a bit two faced we cant be whinging about the titans then expect us to buy up all the guys thats on the market!!!
just my two cents guys,im not having a go at anyone just something thats been bothering me for a few days...

1. We are not all saying that, and 2. The Titans have already signed Douglas and Idris on big contracts, and are still looking at guys like Champion, Myles, and still in talks with Bird I believe. While they are really only loosing Nathan Friend who wouldnt be on massive money.

There were also the salary cap rumblings last season about the Scott Prince, and the 'house' which puts doubt into peoples minds, "where there is smoke, there is fire".

But i do agree, some people are getting carried away with all their dream scenerios :lol:

Id say we will only get Snowden and Boyd. Maybe only one of them. Plus a handful of fringies like Jon Green, Nick Emmett, and a few others not from the dragons.

I think the fact the Boyd and Snowden things have gone a bit quiet is a good sign, as we obviously dont have all the things in place as yet on the recruitment/retention side of things, evident by the hold ups with DeGois and Sau. Gidleys contract would have been less complicated as he is a marquee players, long serving player, and they always knew Wayne wanted him.

But your right, no one will ever accuse their own team of rorting the cap :lol: even if we signed half the Australian team, and a few Wallabies. :lol:

I dont think they are over the cap, as they have bad backs and little depth, but If they sign Boyd, Myles, Champion and resign Bird on 350k+ ill be suspicious.

That will give them 4 Australian reps + Champion/Douglas.

Im not sure if this has been asked yet but if we did decide to pay out Myle's release fee, will that money go towards the salary cap or could Tinkler just sling the Roosters some cash and thats the end of it?
