Men State of Origin 2024

Great win.

QLD front loaded their energy way too much with their brutal defence. But couldn't turn that in to points. Gassed out at the end of the game due to it.

Great win by the Blues and thats how you beat QLD, physical damage and take it too them.

Soo happy for Best he deserved that, powerful player.

And real happy for Barny, he might not get another shot at it, but to play in a game like that, beating QLD in a decider in QLD if that is his only Origin game, he got his money's worth.

I think Barnett will get another shot for sure.

Angus Crichton a very deserving player of the series, but getting to run at Nanai rather than Fifita all game certainly helped.

Martin brutalised Capewell on the other edge too.

The worst players this series were Billy’s agenda picks: Those two back rowers and Cotter who again got picked out constantly and honestly should have been penalised in every tackle, ineffective contact followed by desperately holding down. Haas, Leniu, Yeo absolutely killed him.

Val Holmes had a rough old series.

But yeah if they ever decide to invent an opposite award to the WLM, “Jeremiah Nanai Medal” has a nice ring to it.

The way this post reads my mind, is a bit weird and creepy.

Nanai was invisible unless he was running third man in, and all I saw Cotter do was facials and rubbish after he'd been bumped off or trampled.
