Let me ask you this Beaumont. How many Dally M points has Tyrone got and how many has all of our 32 used players got between them? Tyrone underperformed for the same reason our halves still underperform. Nothing of much value in front of them. Daniel played a great game but one forward can't do it on his own.

What say you Tyrone Fan will you back me up?

Roberts like Walsh, Dureau, Mullen, Tuimavave, Dobson, Stig, Henry, Rogers and Bailey (did I leave anyone out) is one of the greatest halves to ever play the game who's talent was never realised at the Knights not because they're actually very average but because of all those dud forwards.

I tell u right now, if Mullen was on the field and not Hodkinson we would of won on the weekend.
Mullen is a fantastic footballer and deserves some respect from some of the clowns on here.
Besides Andrew Johns Mullen is the best half this club has had.

Mullen's good, but I wouldn't say 2nd best we've ever had. Up until 2 or 3 years ago, he was playing pretty poorly. He's a lot better now then people give him credit for though. He's the only guy on our team who actually threatens in attack.

Matty is a brains type player...Like Hodkinson!
Mullen was better 6yrs ago btw, before injuries kicked in.
Been a nrl half since 17yrs old. Body has copped a hiding for 15yrs, and imo still runs ring around Hodko

Michael Hagan is the forgotton 5/8. He was our first star player and rep standard player. It's hard to compare them, but Hagan certainly got more rep honours than Mullen.
 
Hagan....please!! I know where ur coming from Billy.. but in all honesty.. Mullen has carried this club for a decade with very little support beside Kurt! Bedsy only has 3 seasons i think? With Mullen.

Put mullen in a storm jersey next to Cronk... he would of played many a rep game!!

We tried to make Mullen something he's not, which probably wasn't fair, but it has been a disappointing career nonetheless.

Pretty sure the 16 other players on the field every game was mostly to blame!

Indeed he is past it. Not sacked just contract not renewed. He has been the best of a very poor bunch but it is time we tried to move forwards. His career is drawing to a close and injuries simply plague the poor guy.
