1. The more minutes Mason plays the better
2. Boyd n Buderus are returning to form
3. We showed that we can defend attack n make meters when we want to, Confidence is the key.
 
Hahahaha! Your kiddin yourself arent ya the only positive that came out was that the full time siren sounded it was a disgraceful game!!!

McKinnon defended really well in the second half, Willie ran really hard, Bedsy & Mullen got angry and tried really hard (for parts) but once again where is Boyd when they're going over the try line? (And how did he not score that try!)
 
i thought it was a great team effort. and i cant wait round 16 when we flog the tigers. (now that the sarcasm is over.) i honestly dont think we are that far off. its just lapses, alot of lapses but the fact is we put 24 points on. thats more then we have put on since gids was still playing. the more i think about it the more i think wow we have come a long way. we have gone from a team that takes risks and if we get to a lead teams tended to fall apart against us. into a team that can defend (other then the last month where we are adjusting to not having gidley there) i think good things ARE on the horizon. in saying that i check the score before i watch a game these days.
 
Can't wait for the Raiders game. We could possibly win 64 - 56 given both sides dislike of hard work in defense or it could be 0 - 0 as neither side would knock a cocky off his perch in attack. This is the "must win" game we've been waiting for.
 
Did I miss something with McManus, some even calling him awful today? What did he do wrong:S

Boyd had his strong points today, but made a couple of mistakes aswell.

Have to laugh at everyone who thought Bennett would come to the Knights with a different stratgey to the Dragons and Broncos, given we are an attacking team.
 
Yep, it's all a confidence thing. You saw in the first 20 minutes, just on the faces & feeling of the players, we were an unconfident side, noone talking or smiling, while Brisbane were all just playing footy, happy, thinking it was gonna be a walk in the park. Once something went our way our heads turned & we started to look up & play good footy. We just need to start well & we'll eventually go on with one.
 
The opening 20 minutes were disgracful. It was nice to seem them at least appear to be making an effort when they had their little run at the end of the 1st half/ start of the 2nd. Not a whole lot else to be proud of.
 
I think that the Knights did well even with the suspect calls they hung in there till Thaiday scored after that Houston penilty cant believe a Knights player got kneed across the Throat and the broncos got the call that was the game changer.
 
McKinnon has more ticker than Costigan, Cuthbertson and Houston combined. He is 19 yet is the most passionate one out there.
 
NO great positives at all to come out of the Broncos game, Big deal we managed to score a few trys and actually attacked with the football a few times. Other teams have been doing this all season. It was just another flogging in the end.And the knights defence was soft. Danny buderus and Willie mason tried hard as usual and i thought boyd played ok, But he has had a horrible season. Im confident they will come good tho just need to start playing with passion and confidence. The expectation of their first season coached by bennett has added some pressure aswell. I hope this isnt a wasted season tho, the knights need to start winning and soon if they are to make the finals.Its a long off season and its not fair that wayne bennett uses a whole season up just experimenting and not caring about success.
 
Yeah, it was nice to see Boyd touch the ball more then getting the ball back into play, more of that please.
Mason needs to wear 11/12, he's not really playing like a prop and seems to be running at the edges more, all well and good but I'd rather Ritchie/a prop who runs in the middle like Snowden to start and maybe drop Nev to the bench or something.
To be fair though Hodges was absolutely on fire and unless Boyd or even Gidley were in the centres (or our best defending forwards there), no one would have really stopped him heh. (I know that's not really a positive but it's kind of like stopping Inglis on fire, almost impossible, bad luck for us I guess)
Hoping this is a one off game defensively, surely could not get worse!

Yes. Will be interesting to see a crowd figure next week.

It was great to see Bedsy dig in hard. You can tell he's mad. He looked a little rugged so did Junior & Mullo with their beard and messy hair. Geez the reffing was average! Don't anyone for a second think I'm making any excuse - we didn't have a chance anyway but just saying there was some weird calls both ways.

The positive is that it's over and we can enter the Raiders with a shred of hope :razz:

The penalty on Mullen was a joke I thought but I'm an unqualified biased Knights supporter and not a referee
