Let's be honest its time for our team for 2021!

Crossland played his first game of firstgrade at 18 and played a whole season of reserve grade at 18.
He could still have played under 20s in 2020.
He did the first month or so of firstgrade pre season in 2019/20 and was then injured - so he hasn't done a full pre season yet.

We want more." I like this bit of Obi's interview the most , we want more too mate . Every time i read or listen too OBrien im more sure he will get us there or at least close to the GF and soon ..Of course im hoping it happens and he is a 20 yr coach here, doing a Bennett would be good as far as results and longevity go .

We’ve really got a good one in O’Brien. A very good all around coach.

I don’t like to bag Brown too much because overall he did a good job and got us going in the right direction but Obi seems a lot more informative and knowledgeable about what it takes to become a quality football club. He doesn’t use cheap excuses and is pretty spot on with his comments on the players.

Really excited about what we can do under him for the next few years.

We have an easy start to the season so if Pearce can start well we should be in good shape once we get Ponga and Green back.

Mann will do the job at 5/8 and if Pearce has form nobody will look at Mann, its when Pearce struggles that we need that second genuine half and thats when the questions are asked of Mann.

I pray we have a good season with injuries and can keep the spine stable through the season. See what we can do.

The bottom line is that very few players improved under Brown and most seem to have made good progress under O'Brien.
I don't really care about what they say and do or how they come across. The only thing that matters is the end results.
Des Hasler comes across as a guy who'd struggle to tie up his own bootlaces, but he wins premierships.
Coaches should be on the same deal as players. When they deliver - give them a payrise. When they don't deliver - give them the sack.
Apart from that, they can dress up like a clown and give press conferences in the form of interpretive dance for all I care.

Latest name for train and trial - Mackenzie Baker - North Queensland boy who has been at the Roosters for 3 years - fullback who played in the 9s for roosters and scored 3 tries in 2 games.

Another F/Back Makes me think the Knights arnt sure that Ponga will take up that two years in his favour ..

Mackenzie Baker and Garrett Smith played for Qld under 16s against Crossland, Madden, Brock Gardner and Tom Baker from the Knights. Gardner is now top 30 at Souths, Madden top 30 at Wests and Tom Baker played for Cessnock in 2020.
I remember watching that game and Tom Baker ad Brock Gardner had it all over the Qld middles, which included Garrett Smith, David Fifita and big Tino.

Pearce and Klemmer are back to training. I assume many others are too.
Pearce says there will only be 7 sessions before the Christmas break, so I assume it will just about only be seeing how fit everyone is and taking some baselines for when the real training starts.

New training photos show Pearce, Barnett, Mann, Shibasaki but no photos of Klemmer.
Best looks like he is out of rehab and he looks fit.
Brodie Jones looks way fitter.
All the photos of Jack Johns look like he is being a playmaker.
Mackenzie Baker is the centre of one photo.
several of Dom Young.
Don't see Bailey Hodgson, but there are a few I don't recognise.

Looking at the photos again, looks like Bradman did a beep test after not being able to train much - looks like he lost his lunch in one photo.

The be the player video has Crossland, Hoy and Fitz. I think I can also see Ticehurst, but he has had a haircut so it's hard to tell.
No Searle, Croker or Huth that I could see.

Checked some old photos and the pale looking guy with the Maori sleeve tattoo in the Be the player video is definately Daniel Ticehurst (or two big fair skinned guys have full sleeve tattoos on their left arm).
