Coote at 5/8 ...

I'm sick of this labour government! Just another poor decision by Gilliard! How long must we put up with this bloody nonsense with players out of position! First Carbon Tax. Now Coote at 5/8!

I'm positive the Liberals wouldn't do something like this!

The Liberals would have Thurston at 6 and Cronk at 7. Not for any other reason than it gets good results

Im not sure what your complaining about but Im sure the Carbon Tax is to blame

We know that Gillard doesn't pick the side because Galloway, Reed, Shackleton, Matt Ryan, Edwards and McKinnon arent there.

It's players who aren't in the finals, and a whole bunch of players pulled out - all the Saints guys pulled out.

It's a pointless game really although great for PNG obviously.

Real surprised Boyd is playing though.

They'll want him to keep match fitness up for the test match.

That alone is a good reason for Australia to have the fixture. And it is a huge boost for PNG each year. Personally I'd add another game on against say, Fiji residents, Cook Islands, or someone like that ... and NZ should do the same thing each year, too.

2 minutes to go, locked up at 18-all. Australia scored early with Mateo & Jennings (i think), then PNG scored, Australia hit back with Beau Ryan & then PNG came back with the crowd lifting them.

and then AKU UATE SCORES! With 30 seconds on the clock, Prime Minister's XIII win 24-18.
