Knights Sponsorship for 2012

Its been reported the Knights are without an official sponsor for 2012. Coal and Allied will end their association with the club end of this season. Mc Donalds and NIB also reviewing their sponsorship post 2011.

Tinkler will be needing to fork over the money looks like it. Hopefully NIB stay as sponsers, would be a shame to have the largest Newcastle company in australia leave.

Coal & Allied said quite a while ago (last year?) that they wouldn't keep their major sponsorship deal with us if we privatised, so no surprise there.
 
I read in the paper that the HSG are looking for a major sponsor to sponsor both the Jets and Knights. Can't find a link but it's in Barry toohey's column
 
I really dont think we will have troubles getting any form of sponsorship next year simply because of the names we have attracted thus far.
I also read that to NF will be interesting to see if that can happen
 
I don't have any worries tbh Tinkler has his enemies when it comes to business' but he has more friends too who run them and own them, especially in the Newcastle region.

If the brand is of high quality, we will have no problems selling it.

Remembering HSG haven't 'officially' taken over yet either.
 
Sponsors will be lining up to get a piece of the Knights. We will have no problem getting sponsors who will be paying top dollar.
 
Apparently 10 unamed sponsors are in negotiations with the Tinkler group for the rights for both the Knights and the Jets. Id like to see some big name sponsors like holden (more likely Ford cause of Tinklers involved with FPR) or Pepsi/Coke Qantas/Virgin

Coal & Allied is one of the biggest sponsors in the NRL :lol:

Although now Tinks has to meet any shortfalls I wouldnt mind something to make the Jersey good. I'd hate to have a sponsor whose logo ruins the jersey like WOW did to the broncos. Normally I wouldnt care as Money is Money and needed by the club, but now its guarenteed money.

Only to a point. Its a limited guarnatee.
 
any team that attracts wayne bennett and his genius/recruits/team will be high on the channel 9 viewing list.... see broncos/dragons.... and in turn will attract exposure, which will attract sponsors... im sure tinklers mindset would be sponsorship to cover the 10mil he pledged and i wouldnt put it past the big fella...
 
All I want is to have a sponsor like we currently have that melds into the jersey rather than one with a big white box around the outside see below:
