Knights sign Lachie Miller

I think who ever wrote this doesn't like O'Brien and a massive overs call on Bradbury calling him a 10 year player in the NRL half the people haven't even heard of him he is no Payne Hass or Tino that everybody heard of before they debut at a early age and I honestly think we will be around the 8 if we have some luck we injuries so thinking a NRL coach trying to win now is what he should be doing
Yeah given our season last year we really do need a successful season to get back on track. Success breeds success, and if we do well then we are a more enticing destination for players in future.

Like a lot on here I had never heard of Bradbury before this swap. We're not trading away the crown jewels ... and if he turns into a decent player there's always a chance he'll return. But clubs turn over so many players these days, until we really get our junior system where it should be, I think this is a worthwhile swap to increase our chances of success in 2023.

Another year with a makeshift spine would have been absolute suicide from the club.

Of the players the Sharks tried to get from us, he was the 3rd choice after Maps and Keeley. Maybe Max will make fools of us, but yeah the idea that he’s obviously a guy we can’t afford to lose is a bit kooky.

Don’t forget Miller was also third choice behind Reuben Garrick & Tesi Niu

I was disappointed when Garrick turned us down to stay with Manly as I rate him highly and would have helped our goal kicking as well. Wasn't sold on Niu though.

I think Garrick wants to play centre where he played most of his juniors. He was never going to play fullback at Manly ahead of Turbo plus Koula & Weekes both have massive wraps so I think would be preferred even possibly in the centres.

I thought the Knights was a no brainer for him. If he went alright this year as a fullback he stays here & gets fullback money. If Hodgson or Pryce are preferred next year he takes Gagai’s spot & plays his preferred position anyway?
