Knights rumoured targets for 2012

The most I would want Kade for would be 300k out of the cap, great player big future ahead of him. But those saying he is better than Scott are crazy!

Tell me :D I,ve posted who I think in previous pages or you upset Bennett not want Kade A SNOWDEN ;) LOL

Oh yeah, by the way, i read this whole thread and all your posts here, you want Blair and Cooper, have not mentioned wanting anyone else. Those 2 alone you would not get for less than 500k

Snowden is not the best in the game mate, Matt Scott ****s all over him!

Snowden is a great foward but not worth the 500k proposed by many, he stands out as a world beater at Cronulla because they are an ordinary team. If Bennett dosen't think he is worth his asking price, he obviously isnt!

So Civoniceva isnt worth what he gets at the Panthers because he couldnt get that at Bennetts Broncos. Even the best at there jobs are wrong every once in a while.

Is there any possibility Snowden is willing to play for $300k if this imaginery unwritten figure is the limit? He spoke highly of Bennett in his press conference so who knows.
Petero left for the Panthers and will probably never see a premiership at Penrith, same for Snowden if he stays with the Sharks. Im not saying the Broncos or Knights were guaranteed premiereships but its pretty obvious they are the better choices then where they were and are respectively. Especially going by the history to how well the Broncos have done since 2008 to how poorly Penrith have done except for last season really. Add to that the Sharks will unlikely challenge for a top 8 spot over the next 2-3 years and the Knights will.
Anyway in 3 years we might make a play for Snowden again, with the cap up and all Bennett's rule for props might be 400-500k? heh

With the cap up the players salaries go up too, so if there demanding 400k now you could probably double that with a 1 billion rights deal increasing the cap. Still the same situation.

I find it hard to disagree that front rowers are among the most easily replaceable in any team. Over the years so many players that were considered 'average' have turned out to be competition winning front rowers under the right coach. Bennett will know we need another front rower, he just feels we don't need to spend so much of our cap on him.

conditioning coaches will help with that. the reason isn't just that anyone can play prop, and thats why bennett doesnt want to pay that much. but if snowden (touch wood) broke his leg. or had a serious injury. That's alot of cap used up for a player that isnt playing. and with them playing in the middle of the field. throwing their weight around. when they do get injured its usually a decent amount of time before they can get back to their best.

Im racking my brains trying to figure out who else there is on the market who is off-contract. Bennett didnt get every player he wanted when he was making plans at the Dragons, in fact IIRC he had a few misses to start off with, and those players stayed at their clubs for possibly and most probably probably more coin and they don't have a premiereship. After a cap rise, 400k will be the new 300k. Guess we will see...

I dont know about that if the right offer came along pared with the oppertunity to play under bennett, you would have to really love your club to reject that offer

bennett signed for a 4 year deal cos he realises its going to take a while to build up all our training facilities. as jamal said on the footy show. you got bennett but where is your centre of excellence. then gidley said. tinkler will build it LOL
