It's weird that there's a mugshot of him if he hasn't signed yet ... but maybe they just took it because he probably will sign? Last I read I think they said it was pretty close to happening, or expected to happen, or something.

Most players on trial get their pictures taken in the December squad photos. Dimitri Pelo, David Milne, Watisoni Votu & Simione Sawene had their photos taken last year when on trial & you'd expect Albert Kelly will get one taken with the Titans.

Skinny? The kid has just hit puberty if at all. He is pretty muscular for his age, and raw pace is a gift which is deep within the genetic make up of muscular behavior. He could put on massive bulk and still be lightning quick

If he is as good as his coach is making out then its pretty much a waiting game to see how his times compare to international competition as he gets toward adulthood.

If he's running 11.72 without training and conditioning, its not a great leap in logic to assume he could be running 10.5's by mid teens. If he can do that, then he will be Australias fastest ever sprinter by maturity and NRL would be a pretty petty option for him
 
I've heard Saints NYC halfback Jared Allen is playing with us - not sure if he is with Stoney's NSW cup side or not.
Stone also has 29 year old halfback Aaron Barba in his squad. Apparently the older brother of Ben Barba holds the one season try scoring record for the Queensland cup and scored a triple against the side Stone coached to lose the grandfinal the year before he joined the Knights. Barba might also be the Fijian halfback Stone is looking for for the World Cup.

With the huge restrictions the NRL puts on earnings, it's pretty tough to see anyone in that situation going for a career in rugby league.

Nothing wrong with a question sunshine, is a bit annoying when you go all forrest gump and ask numerous times though!
 
with the Cap set to rise to 5.8 million i wonder if Bennett will go after anyone else with the extra cash....??
 
Mick Weyman is off contract this year, and Dragons are our feeder club after all so no doubt he'll be on our hit list.
 
I remember the Toyota Cup commentator saying we had signed him and he's usually spot on but I guess not with this one!
 
I see over on the Broncos forum that a member on there seems to think he has read somewhere that the Knights are after young outside back Aaron Whitchurch.

Never rated the guy in the U20's when I saw him play but he did impress me in the couple of FG games he got this year, looked very solid and handled everything thrown at him.
