Anasta tiuched the balkl three times during the second half of origin one last year, and he was the senior player in the halves.
What I am saying is that he did nor step up and take charge of the game as a senior player should, he allowed other players to take the hard work while he stood back and watched the game full apart.
It is a well known fact that if Mullen was not injured for game two the selectors would have picked him and dropped Anasta for Bird. Which subsequently happened in game three.
OK he probably did not do it on puporse, but if you look at that game and compare it to the games that Anasta has played outside Johns, Joey always took the game on and allowed Anasta the time he needed to play his 2 or 3 set plays (which is about all he has in his arsenal).
