Jarrod Mullen: Six or Seven?

I'd give it a bit of time before you start calling him a legend though.

He's a good player, but still quite young. He needs time to develop and gain experience.

I really like him at 6. Gives him more opportunities to use his great running game.

Five eighth for me also. Much prefer him at second receiver to attack the line, In saying that he's still a handy 7.

I really dont know, Bails is a lot like Bird at 5/8 which i like. I think so far he's played his best football at halfback but im sure he will become a great player in no time at all.

Touch wood he has no more injuries.

I think he needs to play more than 10 games in the same position before anyone can make a decision, personally he looks and plays like a 6 (very much like Daley).

The reason that he failed in orgin last year is because Anasta did not want him to look good cause he knew that they would one day compete for the same position.

God this forum has some ridiculous opinions. Are you actually serious?

Just because you disagree, there's no need to say it is a ridiculous opinion! Everyone is entitled to their say.

Can't say I agree, but there ya go. Given Mullen was the halfback, if anyone would be able to make the other look bad, it would be Mullen not passing the ball to Anasta. Assuming they weren't playing either side of the ruck, and it was the hookers decision.

But I can't see a rep player ever trying to make a teamate look bad in any case, it's inconceivable.

Anasta tiuched the balkl three times during the second half of origin one last year, and he was the senior player in the halves.

What I am saying is that he did nor step up and take charge of the game as a senior player should, he allowed other players to take the hard work while he stood back and watched the game full apart.

It is a well known fact that if Mullen was not injured for game two the selectors would have picked him and dropped Anasta for Bird. Which subsequently happened in game three.

OK he probably did not do it on puporse, but if you look at that game and compare it to the games that Anasta has played outside Johns, Joey always took the game on and allowed Anasta the time he needed to play his 2 or 3 set plays (which is about all he has in his arsenal).
