Hi Everyone! (Introduce Yourself!)

G'day Kingdom,

Been reading the forums almost daily since around August last year. Been a long term fan of the knights and been living in Newcastle since I was 1 years old. I remember watching the first Knights Grand Final Win fondly when I was visiting friends of the family in Sydney whom were Manly supporters. It got quite heated. Still live locally in the Newcastle Shortland Area.

I have had quite a few favourite knights players and of knights of old I would find it hard to pick a favourite out of Johns, Chief, Buderus and Uate. Most recently I would say my favourite knights are Ponga, Best and Sharpe.

Hope we have a fantastic year this year and have much belief in our team for the foreseeable future.

Cheers,
DieHard

Hi everyone!

Welcome to the Newcastle Knights Photo Archive Forum!!!

Sooo ... why did I decide to put a forum on this site? a) The old guestbook kept getting spammed, b) I want a place for Knights supporters to get together and have some fun discussion without any hard-out insults ... I really want people to keep it friendly in this place! Of course, that doesn't mean we can't disagree ... for example - Tony Herman was the greatest player ever to wear the red and blue!!!!

As well as that, this site is all about remembering the good old days, so as well as discussing the present and future of the Knights, please don't be afraid to start a thread reminiscing on how good things used to be!

During the season I will be posting news here each day, so there should be something happening most of the time! Apart from that, sign up right now, and get posting!!! :D :D :D

James.

Wow, that’s so cool! Did you have any link to the Newcastle Knights in those days?

There was a link, for sure (same kit, which I think was donated by the Newcastle Knights)
Dave Nui and Bob Balachandran were the guys (on this side) that were the main dudes. I just laced them up. Great times.
David Nui I remember well! I did recall there was a period when the Knights shared/donated gear like that, how cool that it was while you were playing!

Hi everyone Im from Innisfail far north qld (Billy Slaters home town) Im pretty new to the footy scene so dont know much, but ecently my son was contracted to the knights 19s SG ball side so now I'm following everything Newcastle knights!
Hi, Just checking if you know that all the SG Ball games are broadcast on bartv for $20 a month - and if your son goes on to play Flegg, all those games will be on as well.
