Should have been in the Dally M team of the year. He’s twice the player Powder Jenkins is.

Greg marshew is a lesley vainikolo clone

Damn the was a great watch! So many tough put downs. Surprisingly fast in open space.

I know he has his defensive limitations. But he isnt doing simple open line put downs. He works hard from our try line to theirs.

Also shows the work best does to get him away as well. Need to find some brown paper bags of our own to keep all these guys

I noticed as the video progresses it goes from Best throwing the final pass most of the time, to Manuleleua doing a lot of them.

They made some nice changes through the year so we weren’t predictable. There was the one that Ponga ended up throwing the last pass from centre with best being the decoy. Just some real good coaching

But if that happened back in 2024, it was the players ignoring O'Brien right?

"If" planned, intelligent variation in attacking set plays happened under O'Brien in 2024, sure, we could have conjectured that it was the players ignoring O'Brien, I guess. IF it ever happened.

People sometimes tend to overlook just how great of a player he can be in a positive environment due to his height and ability in the air, but boy can he pull some great plays out of his beautiful Samoan backside.

Holbrook has been a revolution for him, certainly brought confidence back into Greg’s game.

He and Young could go down as one of our best wing pairings of all time at the end of their time here. So glad we have two lethal finishers on our edges.

[Treadly]

Yeah, im goona say they have overtaken my old favourite pair in McManus and Uate.

Though none of em can hold a candle to McManus' defensive ability.

[Joshhh]

Definitely would have never thought we'd have a pair so soon that would compare to the days of Uate, McManus and Vuna.

Though I reckon Uate was a combination of both Young and Marzhew. The speed of Young, the raw power of Marzhew and then the silly errors/high ball troubles both can have too!

Still the best try ever catching that kick off and crashing through half a dozen to score.

Yes! Vs Easts. I nearly died from joy. Uate is the best ever

Yep. We had nothing to lose...OB thought hr was getting the sack...near bottom of the table...

Danny Wicks had a miracle try as well.

On him full on respect, did his time and came back to finish solidly.

Talked to him after his time at the Eels and seemed like a decent guy who made some poor choices. Interestingly he said he declined a last season at Parra after weighing all considerations. $300k didn't cut it when he factored in tax, rent and wife not working because of no family support in Sydney. Moving back to the north coast he had a job, family support and was paid as captain coach at Grafton where he won a competion.

That is a try no prop should ever score, but he did.

Was beautiful rugby league viewing.
