Greg Marzhew discussion

People sometimes tend to overlook just how great of a player he can be in a positive environment due to his height and ability in the air, but boy can he pull some great plays out of his beautiful Samoan backside.

Holbrook has been a revolution for him, certainly brought confidence back into Greg’s game.

He and Young could go down as one of our best wing pairings of all time at the end of their time here. So glad we have two lethal finishers on our edges.
 
Yeah, im goona say they have overtaken my old favourite pair in McManus and Uate.

Though none of em can hold a candle to McManus' defensive ability.
 
Definitely would have never thought we'd have a pair so soon that would compare to the days of Uate, McManus and Vuna.

Though I reckon Uate was a combination of both Young and Marzhew. The speed of Young, the raw power of Marzhew and then the silly errors/high ball troubles both can have too!

Talked to him after his time at the Eels and seemed like a decent guy who made some poor choices. Interestingly he said he declined a last season at Parra after weighing all considerations. $300k didn't cut it when he factored in tax, rent and wife not working because of no family support in Sydney. Moving back to the north coast he had a job, family support and was paid as captain coach at Grafton where he won a competion.
