Gidley Next NSW Captain?

The selectors have very limited people to pick from for NSW Captain since Gasnier has left..Anyone think that Kurt is the man for the job next year?

Yeah, I think he will get it. The only other people could be Gallen, Mason, Cooper, Fitzgibbon but I think Gidley is the better choice than all the others.

No way. He is too old and is going to retire soon. He may not even be selected. I hope Gidley gets it as he is still young and would be there for a while.

If Your Good Enough your old enough! ( i know that is usually said for younger players who cares) I'd like to see Gids there, but he has to picked in the Starting side to even stand a chance at getting the "C" next to his name!

I think they need to give it to someone who will be there for the next 5 years.

Fitzgibbon said he will only most likely last next year, why give it to him for one year?

Gidley needs to make the starting side to be captain for starters.

Personally, Luke Bailey if he gets picked next year. Laffranchi even, someone inspiring.

Yeh, he needs to get his Fullback spot. Who knows, they might even select him as hooker

I think if he plays, Fitzgibbon might get it, otherwise Gallen or Bird or something.

It would be good to see Gids get it but I don't think they will give it to him.

I think Gidley will, just in a few years time cause he has only started one game.
Correct me if im wrong.
& that was only for Bedsy & his connection.
But he showed he deserved he to be in the starting line up.
But who knows.

If Gidley is able to captain the Knights next year then i dont see why not..haha
He handled it pretty well against the panthers when the ref kept telling him to tell the boys to stop being so naughty or they'd be sin-binned

Danny Buderus got it without being a club captain, i'll just throw that up there. but he did have some experience with Johns out injured so much.

Gids seems too quiet for my liking, but he certainly has the determination and passion and will lead by example
