Joey said it, and a few others in the media did too, that Ponga would have to have a 10/10, game of his life for us to win. Don’t understand that, he’s not the be all and end all of our team anymore. We have so many threats.
Media want their heroes I guess, but it’s a team sport, and everyone stepped up tonight.
It’s either AI or Gagai played in Bunnies socks.

Ennis was full of praise I thought actually. The only one who was of the panel, which was…unsettling.
Bloke was sleeping on the door so he wasn’t going to be able to open it so he asked him to move. He must of flipped him off because he asked if he wanted a band aid for his finger. Then started rubbing it in that the knights won and made a few other comments. Had most people pissing themselves

KP had zero line break or try assists last night but it was one of his better games of late imo. Played a lot like teddy, got into dummy half for a scoot when we were struggling in yardage, plenty of tough stuff. Almost cracked 300m in the end and only had one long line break from memory.
Wayne must be finally losing his marbles because it started because Trell was stopping Dane from picking up the ball so he could race back for the 20m restart.

Resting Dane to give him a chance to be fit for the finals was a great call.
Dane has always delivered in big games for Qld and Souths and for the Knights.

BTW, Old Man Bennett is completely wrong about the bunker.
McEwen does not play at the ball; he's attempting to make a tackle. His first contact is with the arm...it's a loose carry every day of the week.
The bunker got the call right, as it did with Dom's try, because there was a shot from the rear that appeared to show grass between Dom's foot and the sideline. The bunker can (and should) only overrule when there's conclusive proof, and that shot took away conclusive proof.
Of course, the media are playing up "bunker chaos" for all it's worth, and it's an example of why people shouldn't play into the anti-bunker narrative because the bunker gets the calls mostly right.
I used to think Annesley explaining bunker calls each week was a mistake, along the lines of if you're explaining, you're losing. But I think that assessment was wrong, and they should bring it back because the NRL ceded the floor to RL media and influencers, where, for so many of them, the business model is generating clicks and likes through ragebait.

Man what a finals win, since 01’ our finals record is only 4 wins, Manly 06’ (I was there as a kid) 13’ run and of course Canberra 23’.
I’ve always had this gut feeling we are legit contenders since our nice start to the season, that confidence that we can be a serious threat which I haven’t felt for a long time. I agree with others that we are entering a ‘premiership window’, fan or no fan - can’t deny it. So exciting!
