Ex-Knights Watch

Knew it was the case but funny to see it confirmed.

I really can’t comprehend telling a player not to use on of their best skills. Why did he agree to buy KPP is he wasn’t going to use him properly? View attachment 8003
Funny. Yep AOB ball he had to put it away. I’ll be slightly off it if he’s killing it for the tigers and getting second faze play. Good for him, just pissed our x coach didn’t utilise him that way.

Hastings has now been ran out of how many clubs leaving very few supporters in his wake? He's now on how many podcast sob stories about how he's finally learned to stop being an insufferable ****** (for real this time)?

Good to see he's finally grown up a bit with a post like this for absolutely no reason.

Glad Hopwood isn't playing under O'Brien.
He loves an offload.
I always thought the Safs might learn to use their long arms and bodies to offload like many tall guys do. They never did, but Hopwood gets the big arm free all the time in juniors. Only a matter of time till he is strong enough to be doing it regularly in firsts.

Article about Preston Conn who made his debut for Melbourne last week.
Says he was a Newcastle Wests junior.
Says he played AJ Cup for the Knights.
Says he trained with Ball for a pre-season but never got a game.
Says Todd Lowrie offered him a trial for Melbourne Flegg side.
He had an ordinary first flegg season for Storm, but in his second year he was player of the year for the Flegg comp, captain of Storm, won both the minor and major titles and got a firstgrade pre-season and debuted in round one.

Just goes to show that you can never really predict when young guys are going to peak. Clearly, this guy was nothing special till he was about 19, and is now one of the hottest prospects in the comp.

Xerri dropped for Tuala. I wonder how much influence AOB had? I don’t think Xerri has been thay bad since coming from his ban.
Spat the dummy over being moved to the right side and has requested a release, dont think he will be back in first grade at the dogs.

Can’t help but laugh at Brailey’s first two touches. Dropped ball picking it up from the scrum, then a terrible pass for a dropped ball by Hudson Young. Just want u want from your hooker. I remember when he was in the origin conversation, wtf happened.

Crazy how a guy can score many catch and score tries but outside of that his impact is minimal, and defence leaves a lot to be desired. But with teams like Penrith who are churning through guys you need cheapies like him until someone comes along with an over inflated contract (cough Bears/PNG)

Averages 150+ metres and his defence is fine

Unless you are just constitutionally opposed to running the football, if you’re the other guy in the To’o/Edwards/_____ back 3, playing with that forward pack, you’d almost have to go out of your way to not run that many metres.

Yep

He doesn't score half the tries Dom and Marzhew score that sometimes seem impossible

And he was one of the many reasons penriths defence was so bad when they had their injuries

Yeah he’s doing his job, I just don’t think we need to worry about it relative to how he went for us. He’s very low down on the list of reasons why his team is good. Greg Marzhew and Dom Young are both pretty high on our list of reasons for going well so far, particularly for a winger.
