Dom Young discussion

Idk, other fanbases seem to think he’s average (because of his stint at roosters). Has his day defensively, but you can’t ignore his finishing ability and work out of his end.
He just looks more comfortable outside of gags and aside from the cowboys game I don’t think he’s had a real shocker defensively. Dom is just different in a knights jersey
 
Young and Best born on the same day.
Best debuted in round 23 2019
Dom debuted in round 3 2021
So Best had a bit over a season head start.
After this week Dom will be on 100 NRL games and Best will be on 110.
Dom will be on 82 tries plus any he scores this week and Best will be on 44.
 
Interesting stat's Billy, though I have to point to Best's great defence closing that gap, if you include the imaginary 'points not conceded' stat.

Shows how good Dom's injury history is vs Best. Oh yeah, like right now

Just wanted to praise Dom’s decision making and execution on a couple of plays. First the “no try” to Brown, he made sure do dummy first to ensure Bula was fully committed to him before tackling so that Brown would definitely score.

Secondly on the last play, he probably could’ve tried to burn May on the outside but smartly cut back in and his pass selection to Best, instead of Gags, was the right play and wasn’t easy to execute given how fast he was running and the conditions.

Weren’t exactly a lot of smart plays last night, so worth highlighting the few that were
