Cross out for season

This changes everything!!! Cross is a MUST for the knights to be competitive!! personally i put simpson in the front row and have a back row of houston paterson (if fit) and Hilder,shattering news!!
 
Horrible news, I've been really impressed with Cross this year. On the positive we do have depth, with Tolar due back soon, Simpson also. Hopefully we can survive without him.
 
we are gonna get smashed this weekend with cross out and rogers mullen sau naiqama all doubtful, thats f***ed

good to see the club learned from the injury ravaged years of '05 and '07.
we had the experience and quality and we chose to get rid of them now suffer the consequences.
 
We have Simpsons and Tolar coming back, you could say they've been here quite long. Whats going on with Simpsons? When is he due back

Cross has been by far one of our most consistent players this season.

We've got plenty of back up in Tolar, Wicks, Simpson, Taufua, Fa'aoso, Natusch ...

I don't think this is a massive loss, really. Our go forward hasn't been all that great this year, anyway - from our props, at least. Tolar is the main man, once he returns. Simpson will likely be forced to prop, and he is solid-as in that position.

Cross, he's been a bit of a dud buy. Played poorly in the few games he did play last year, and can only manage 7 games this year. We should have been more wary of his injury proneness, in retrospect. He's out more often than MacDougall!

then cut Cross and buy someone decent...as for the others....I like Tolar but he has never been the best front rower at the club, always a back-up...Wicks is still yet to impress...don't blunt Simmo by pushing him into the front -row (provided he gets back on the park soon anyway)...Taufua is a converted back-rower that is nothing more than a tackling machine (someone teach him to pass the ball!)...Fa'aoso runs like hell and we all love him but he seems inexplicably doomed to a life of bench-player (give him a start Smith ya jerk!)...and Natusch is very green.
as usual things could have been so much better...but what would a fan like me know? it's the 'experts' that recruit and retain...and what a job they do!
