Confusion as Kiwis subtract Sa’u from Test calculations

Thats disappointing for him but i think its a fair decision because his recent form hasn't been great. Hopefully this will motivate him more.
 
He deservedly misses out. Hopefully this is the kick up the *** he needs. Dropped from the Four Nations final (possibly due to injury), overlooked for the Anzac Test & now dropped from the whole train-on squad altogether!

Just as long as they don't replace him with Mannering!

I'd have Matai and Kenny Dowall.
 
What's wrong with Mannering?? Or are you referring to the fact that he's a second-rower, not a centre?
 
Aaahk, would've been a little surprised if you didn't rate him. He's a good player. Personally i'd have Matai & Kenny-Dowall also, but a backrower/centre utility off the bench such as Lewis Brown or Mannering because Matai is always going down! Then you've got a whole range of good players to pick from as the starting wingers like Vatuvei, Nightingale, Perrett, Duffie. Then i'd have Locke as fullback, Hohaia as utility. At the start of the year i thought Fisiiahi would've came close but this just wasn't his year. New Zealand look good coming into the Four Nations i gotta admit. I partially cheer for the Kiwis, because my Dad is New Zealander and part Maori, so i'll be cheering them on against Wales & England. Sometimes i even supported them over the Kangaroos because the Australian team never changed, it was always the same! But that's changed a little in recent times.

Well, that first article was a fail. I'm guessing another player got injured and he would just get squeezed in.
