Tbh, the player movements atm do suggest Gidley at 9...
They do, but a Buderus signing could change that too. Stone is taking a guess like the rest of us tbh.

Yeah, if Buderus signs, then I wouldn't be surprised if he and Hilder shares the load. Going by the style Bennet likes to play with.
Only one guy would know where Kurt is playing in 2012 and thats WB.
Glad this has been sorted and both parties can move on. Be interesting to know who else is on the radar. With Sau and Tahu signed up forwards as mentioned seem to be the key. Patterson and De Gois will free up a lot of room, even if part of it is still counted in the cap (for Pato next year). Yeah it doesn't really surprise me we have room to make a few more decent buys this year.
Any player that is as young as Darius Boyd with rep honours already is a great signing, full stop! Who knows were kurt is going to play? dont really care to be honest, with the team we are going to have and the depth we are going to be awesome.
Geeez im glad stone pointed out what our backline will be! I had no idea!! haha he seems like a little boy in a classroom saying "I know that! I know that!" and id be worried if i was jimmy mac, his wing spot is yet to be confirmed like aku's.
But if WB is after Buderus that says to me Gids > Halves
I'm 100% expecting Gidley to be in the halves with Mullen next year.
Having a young inexperienced half like Henry or Roberts controlling the team around the park doesn't seem like Bennett's MO.
I can see Bennett going the same route with Gidley as he did with both Hornby and Lockyer - fullback to half.
There's a similarity between both Hilder and Young too, as in they could play very similar roles within a team.
There's the spine right there, which is very comparable to the Dragons.
1. Boyd - Same
6. Mullen - Comparable to Soward as in before Bennett, both players had tremendous potential they hadn't reached yet.
7. Gidley - Comparable to Hornby as in they're both experienced players with great leadership qualities made obvious by their captaincy and they were both fullbacks prior to Bennett's arrival.
9. Hilder - Comparable to Young as they're both solid experienced players who you know exactly what you're going to get from them. Both hooker and lock capable too.
Dude take a chill pill, have your say and move on, dont try and shove your thoughts into people and try and make them see it your way.

I don't like Hilder at hooker. He is way too predictable, doesn't offer much in attack and doesn't really kick well. He is a tackling machine and his best position is lock and that's where he should stay.
I'm just glad that we may finally have a spine that will play consistently together and not be chopped and changed every week.

Anybody who thinks WB is dumb enough to put hilder at 9 when clearly there are better options doesn't deserve to have an opinion on this.
CLEARLY Gidleys best position apart from 1 is 9..
CLEARLY Hilder is useless as an attacking hooker
CLEARLY we have two super talented youngsters aged 21 or younger who have shown glimpses brilliance at FG level. It would be a complete farce to deny either of them an opportunity to become great under Bennett in order to keep Hilder in a position that he is hopless in?? Not to mention that Gids makes a way better 9 than 7..
It baffles me ...
