Haha i know! :lol: I noticed that i forgot to black & white out a hand within a few days of putting that sig up, ages ago, but have never got around to fixing it, was hoping noone would ever notice!
 
Just thought I'd mention for those that didn't hear, Beau Scott needs groin surgery and may have a late start to our pre-season.

As far as I know, he's our only player requiring surgery in the off-season?
 
That sucks but I think he'll be back around Christmas time won't he?? If so he won't miss much pre-season, will still get about 2 months which is pretty good.

Likiliki also getting knee surgery - will miss half the season.
 
Yep well we can write 2013 off for Scott, he'll come into the season lacking the only thing he has to offer, fitness and strength in defense. Then apart from a couple decent games he'll just kick back and wait for 2014, why not, he's contracted until the year 2034... Wait a minute that sounds a lot like Snowden !!

My tip is for Costigan to have a good year, after all next year is his last on contract

RE Costigan, What on earth happened to him?

Surely he can't still be rattled after breaking his arm...... Seems to have lost that killer agro his renowned for.

Exactly.

You have simpleton supporters who completely fail to see this. Was it just a massive coincidence that his last super season was on the final year of a three year contract? Maybe, maybe not but at least Im aware to the mentality of some footballers whether they play for the Knights or not..

Once more look at Snowdens last year at the Sharks, HE PLAYED FOR AUSTRALIA with a severe neck injury. He then comes to the Knights (plays well to begin the season) but has a complete reversal of form.

The reason they do this is because they get away with it, my dog can see this trend but some supporters cannot. Its our job to keep them honest
 
Has anyone on here been praising Costigan's form Mark? Most I've seen are pretty fed up with it!

I'm yet to see anybody doing cartwheels over Snowden's form, either.
 
Mark are you married ? If so then you should know how things work. The girl gets herself in shape and looks hot. She does everything to please you until you get hooked. Then She lets herself go and doesn't really care until of course She finds herself without a breadwinner then the cycle starts again. It's the same with NRL players. They all find another gear when playing for their future.

I remember talking about it but I'm not sure which thread in regards to Beau Scott and his rumoured 500k a season.

The DT back then quoted it as 1.5mil over 4 seasons so already thats down to 375k and adding to that all the third party sponsorship we now have available I reckon we might have got him less than that. The third party bumps up deals enormously and it's the main reasons why clubs are able to keep players and you think how are they doing this? We never had that before Tinkler.
