MacDougall and Peden should be two of the first players picked. Albert was good but was very injury prone. MacDougall at his best was a much, much better footballer. I'd have Peden starting ahead of Muir.

I don't know Billy. Gidley would be on the bench with Ross at fullback for mine. The team wanted was home grown not how good they were for us. Robbie Ross was that good as a junior he made the Hunter Region side without showing up to the lead up and being totally outplayed in the possibles and probables.

Craigie was a great player. I can still remember him scoring after the siren against the Bears in the Preliminary Final to take us to the Grand Final back in 1997. It's a shame how gambling problems killed his career.
