Which away games does everyone plan to get to next season? I will be trying to make every Sydney game possible, hopefully a majority are sunday games & hopefully canberra again.

As for interstate games not sure atm

Obviously the Brisbane game for me but I'd like to try and get to a couple of home games too. Disappointed there's no GC away game :(

Yeah same, really keen to head to movie world or dream world again been way too long. Also haven't experienced their nightlife up there yet either.

Skilled park however is a heckhole to get to, public transport up there sucks massively.

There's the odd decent spot on the coast but I've never taken to it. I havent found the public transport to be that bad....though it's got nothing on Translink in Brisbane...however, event management is all they can seem to get right..day-to-day travel facilitation by them has left everything to be desired.

The Raiders and Dragons games i'll definitely go to. I'll probably go to the Sharks and Roosters games aswell.

I was there earlier this year and found it very easy to get around on the buses ... including to Skilled Park for a game.

Oh and as for the subject ... I might make it to Auckland for our game there, next season.

Yeah might finally make the trip across the ditch. Haven't been overseas before. To be honest I probably should be trying to make every game possible next season. Already this year been to Melbourne & gold coast for jets games & melbourne for that knights game last season & going to melbourne again next month against the victory. Swear I must be up there with 1 of newcastles top sports fans.

melbourne and auckland. one of my best mates is a storm member so i like going down and sitting in the middle of the storm fans wearing the red and blue

Depends on Uni, finances and hockey...

Dylan, wow it was be quite the task trying making every Knights game. Good luck haha you should be rewarded or something!

Also I've never been to an away game, a Central Coast game is probably on the cards.

Haha cheers. Seriously though its not that hard to get down to sydney games. The club should be trying to get more down to away games considering we are owned by tinkler & have abit of cash noe. I'd say we would bring alot more down to away games in sudney if lets say we had free buses for members down to games and a free ticket aswell for lets say the first 2000 members that got in & seated them in a knights only section visible to the tv. Would be amazing & would generate a good atmosphere. Too expensive for alot of fans to trek too away games especially families & low income earners.

So much potential for this great club off the field, I just wish someone of the HSG read these comments.

All well and good, but free seats to 2000 members is going to cost the club in the region of $50,000. Multiplied by 13 away games and this idea would probably send us broke.

Basically it is up to the fans. I know people who travel from Sydney to Newcastle for games, and vice-versa. It's not all going to be handed out to you, we just need our fans to have the commitment to do it.

If I lived two hours drive from a Knights game, I'd go every single time, even if it meant taking a day's annual leave.

Yeah its kind of a shame we don't get more to away games. But I reacon the majority of fans at nrl games arent as passionate as football/sokka fans. We should be fine next season, I'll hopefully train some fans up with my army I'm planning to start next season aswell as the fact we have a more exciting squad next season.

League fans are just as passionate as soccer fans, just because they aren't rioting hooligans doesn't mean their not passionate ... it just means they have a bit more brains!

Newcastle did used to get a huge travelling supporter base to Sydney for matches back in the late 90s/early 00s. It's dried up as our results have gone downhill, and I guess you can't blame people for that.

I think it should naturally improve next year with a more competitive side, and a club that seems more sympathetic to, and in tune, with it's own supporters.

Well if we have any Central Coast games this year I'll go for sure. The others are depending on the times & days... We tend to average 4 away games a year but I guess life will change again with another baby. :doubt:

I don't know why Manly would ever not play us there as they always put 50 on us there
