Australia v New Zealand Test - 13 October @ Dairy Farmers Stadium

Papalii has been on the Queensland and NZ radar for ages. Maybe you lot only just noticed him? But his eligibility has been an issue for a long time.

Yes he's been on their radar for ages because he was a talented junior that has broken into FG, they've haven't been after him because of his NRL form. He's only been good for the last 2 weeks. I've watched their games & he has played well lately, i'm not saying he hasn't. But after a couple of hits on Gallen, he's super famous now, i've seen people just last week say they want to sign him for the Knights & how he's a good young player & has been good this season when they've only watched him the last 2 weeks because he's had some media attention. It's like after Roberts broke out against Manly, everyone starts calling for him to have a spot in the Indigenous All Stars team. It's way too soon. On this season, Papalii does not deserve to be in the top 17 for NZ. Next season i have no doubts he'll go good all season as he's now found his feet in FG & probably make the NZ side.

Papalli has been playing great before that, though. He's been hard to handle on that right edge for a good while now. Ask McCrone

He's no worse than Pritchard.

Exactly, Papalii has had a very consistent and quality season. I think it's a little insulting to say he's only come to attention because of the Canberra vs Cronulla game. I am certain he'd have been picked in the end of season test for NZ before that, based purely on his form for Canberra throughout the year.

That Papalii scum won't be taking part in the Kiwi side anymore, so here's my updated team.

1. Hoffman
2. Perrett
3. Inu
4. Matai
5. Vatuvei
6. Foran
7. Marshall (c)
8. Kasiano
9. Luke
10. Matulino
11. Mannering
12. Pritchard
13. Smith

14. Johnson
15. Glenn
16. Blair
17. Waerea-Hargreaves

Teams get announced on Wednesday. Billy Slater is in doubt, Lewis is now available and Watmough and G Stewart are out. Kasiano looks to have chosen NZ thank god, he wouldn't have been chosen for Australia anyway.

1. Billy Slater
2. Darius Boyd
3. Greg Inglis
4. Josh Morris
5. Akuila Uate
6. Johnathan Thurston
7. Cooper Cronk
8. Matt Scott
9. Cameron Smith
10. David Shillington
11. Ryan Hoffman
12. Nate Myles
13. Paul Gallen

14. Luke Lewis
15. Tony Williams
16. Ben Hannant
17. James Tamou

We've been hit hard with all our injured backrowers. If Slater is out I'd put Inglis to fullback and Tate to centre.

I'd say because he chose QLD over NZ

More that he played for the Junior Kiwis and said a few months ago he was 100% a Kiwi. If he had have chosen Aus before Meninga came waving his chequebook around then I wouldn't have minded at all, after all, he's lived in Aus since he was six.

I was p*ssed off when Uate was dropped but my Aussie spirit has come out watching the match warmup & team lineups on tv, lets smack those Kiwis.

Amazing try to finish the half! Tied up 10-all, and I think that's a good reflection of the game so far.

C'mon New Zealand, finish this off in the second forty!!!

Well, looks like it'll finish 18-10. Can't help but think Jeremy Smith would have made a big difference for the Kiwis ... but the Aus defence was just too good, and the NZ attack a bit too disorganised tonight. :(

What the hell was Williams starting at lock for :S

Great win by the Aussies, showed their class and experience for the last 60 minutes. Just too good once again and I think they will always be too good for the kiwis for a long LONG time, you look at how dominant the young Australians are over the young kiwis and its good signs for the future. Go Aussies!

Not until League overcomes Union in NZ as the biggest sport will NZ truly be dominate or equal to Australia constantly.

Pretty average game, bad showing by both teams, Australia's tackling and defense was terrible at most times.

I wouldn't give a minus to Gallen, Boyd or Inglis...
Gallen is out of position,NO IDEA WHY :S, though still did an okay job..
And Inglis and Boyd barely saw the ball at all...
