Australia v New Zealand Test - 13 October @ Dairy Farmers Stadium

Quinny

Todd Bates
Cannot believe Sheens is talking about playing Lawrence ahead of Aku. No Tigers player deserves to make the side let alone one of sat out almost the whole year, if I was NZ I would be rubbing my hands together.

He won't play Lawrence ahead of Uate. If anyone is going to replace Uate it'll be Brett Stewart but I can't see that happening either. Uate was fairly dropped in game 3 but since then he's been fantastic. Recent form and loyalty will keep him in the side.

1. Billy Slater
2. Akuila Uate
3. Greg Inglis
4. Josh Morris
5. Darius Boyd
6. Johnathan Thurston
7. Cooper Cronk
8. Matt Scott
9. Cameron Smith
10. James Tamou
11. Nate Myles
12. Glenn Stewart
13. Paul Gallen

14. Ben Barba
15. Anthony Watmough
16. Ben Hannant
17. Tony Williams

I thought his defence was pretty solid for the last 10 or so weeks. Outside of someone like Hodges he's fine.

Stewart on the wing would be laughable. Uate/Morris and Inglis/Boyd should be the combos, the only other guy I would consider is Ashley Graham or maybe Barba.

Best looking team!

Best looking team!

It really does have to be up there with the greatest side ever.. The entire team is filled with players which can't really be improved on, not to mention any team looking to beat us will have to score over 50 points lol

The best thing is we can be missing several amazing players and the team still isn't effected, the quality of Australia's depth is absolutely amazing.

Anyone wanna have a crack at their predicted nz side??

I'll have a go:

1. Josh Hoffman
2. Jason Nightingale
3. Steve Matai
4. Simon Mannering
5. Krisnan Inu
6. Benji Marshall
7. Kieren Foran
8. Sam Kasiano
9. Isaac Luke
10. Ben Matulino
11. Frank Pritchard
12. Adam Blair
13. Jeremy Smith

14. Lewis Brown
15. Jared Waerea-Hargreaves
16. Alex Glenn
17. Fuifui Moimoi

I think its safe to say Australia have each and every kiwi covered. Ah it's so nice to support such an amazing team. Go the Kangaroos!

The side will be pretty close to this, I'd say:

1. Hoffman
2. Nightingale
3. Kenny-Dowall
4. Matai
5. Vatuvei
6. Foran
7. Marshall (c)
8. Kasiano
9. Luke
10. Matulino
11. Mannering
12. Pritchard
13. Smith

14. Fien
15. Papalii
16. Blair
17. Waerea-Hargreaves

Don't think I've forgotten anyone. I don't see Johnson making it from reserve grade (Kiwi selectors seem to prefer Foran, anyway) ... and I believe Locke and Leuluai are both out injured.

I see Nightingale is having surgery, and Fien has retired from international league.

Replace Nightingale with Perrett and Fien with Johnson in the above side (or Leuluai if fit and available).

Perrett's probable inclusion increases Inu's chances of making the side.
