in post match interviews they seem calm, relaxed, and in good spirits. They're enjoying their footy - The Knights look like they have the weight of the world on them. Not a happy place at the moment.

Having McDermott here I thought we might chance our arm a little more with the superleague approach to open up the attack book a bit more but no I reckon AOB put the handcuffs on him aswell. He either needs to be swept somewhere else or hit with a bat to wake up our attack. Everyone including the training staff look disinterested in everything we do in the 80 minutes we watch weekly.

Our style is so predictable, even our replacements! Bradman Best is too good of a natural talent to be used more as a battering ram, than put into space close to the line.
Our defence has improved from last year, but has plateaued this year. We are beaten at the play the ball, get caught through the middle or caught short on the edges.
Our defence has poor line speed and doesn’t dominate the opposition. Our play the ball shows no energy. We don’t attack in numbers, instead relying on one out play.
This is what I see every week!

The team is tense? I'm sorry but they are all well payed professional athletes who's sole job is to go out and perform weekly.

Tense just sounds like he is making up excuses........wtf is there to be tense about.

We need a good coach who calm the players down and make them feel confident that they can execute the game plan and perform their individual roles.
 
since brailey went down we havnt won the middle, which equates to poor territory,which snowballs into rucking the ball off our line more and defending teams that are throwing attacking shape at us more often. from what ive seen when we play on the front foot when winning the middle we score plenty of points and look like a genuine top 8 side, off the back of that we have more energy in defense. i think they way we play is effective providing we are winning the ruck (pretty standard stuff really). its the roster management sh**ing the bed once again. the club really needs to identify an effective long term 9 and move away from brailey as quick as we can. I know im in the minority but i dont think we need to reinvent the wheel with how we play we just need a damn nrl quality hooker!.
 
I don’t know about moving away from Brailey because it’s hard to find someone else as good as him & I’m not sure we’d have the cap space even if we did identify someone. But yeah back-up option(s) who are at least competent would make a lot of difference. ATM we have league-worst dummy half play.

I mean Cleary is extremely high paid and comes from an obviously affluent family. Bit easier for him to make a call like that than most.
