Adam O'Brien replacement?

I just look at the style of footy we have tried to play over the last few years and think gee this is so 2010s footy. Grind grind grind. That's on AOB. We have guys who are naturally talented individuals who should be allowed to have a dig at whatever they feel. AOB doesn't like the upty, roundy fancy stuff.......words from his own mouth and players. There is only so much the blokes on the field can do when playing to his structures which are plain and simply sheethouse.

Having McDermott here I thought we might chance our arm a little more with the superleague approach to open up the attack book a bit more but no I reckon AOB put the handcuffs on him aswell. He either needs to be swept somewhere else or hit with a bat to wake up our attack. Everyone including the training staff look disinterested in everything we do in the 80 minutes we watch weekly.
 
On the NBN news, Ponga says we have the best coaching setup this year he's seen at the Knights. Says the players need to take responsibility.

When the Knights were at their best, they had a bloke called Joey playing for them. He and his teammates played eyes up footy. The Knights were known for this style and they won 2 premierships.

When Joey was at his best, it used to be great looking forward to the Knights game each weekend wondering what brilliant plays they would execute.

We have won no premierships since we stopped playing eyes up footy.

No doubt. But remember all those times Bellamy, Robinson, Bennett followed the sage advice of Paul Kent, Buzz Rothfield and Pete Basel when running their clubs, and the endless success it brought them? 😆 My point is that the NRL media are agenda-driven and sensationalized and not a single person in clubland should listen to or read that when considering how to run their operations.

Do you remember when any of those clubs were run like the shambles ours is

And putting the likes of Bennett and Bellamy 2 of the Best as comparison to the dud which is AOB is comical

Agree the media is a disease, but so is the way this club is run and coached
