now that's a very impressive CV , that's the man right there.

If AOB goes I'll bet that's the next coach. A year or so to learn the NRL ropes should be enough.

Put him in as interim asap and see how he goes for the rest of the year. I think we should go for John Morris. He's a Newcastle junior!

Justin Holbrook also had very impressive SL achievements. Look what happened there. Just put him now and see how he goes.
 
Just thinking about it, remember how fiercely loyal Hastings was after Madge got sacked last year... I wonder if hell do the same for AOB.
Or I wonder if hell be wanting Madge to come in as Knights coach.
 
AOB has been lucky so far, plenty of click worthy stories this season. The "sack the coach " stories are for the quiet news days.

No doubt the clock is ticking
 
Even the vast majority of the people that post on facebook now want AOB sacked.

I think it is just a question of when he is sacked, Wests may delay sacking him to try to postpone paying him out. I think they are just postponing the inevitable.
 
I don't want to knock the guy for effort or lack of trying, but he is not a head coach. He might be a good assistant. Maybe Wests could keep him as an assistant. Haha. I don't think that has ever happened.

Rick Stone stayed on as reserve grade coach for the same money when Tinkler brought Bennett in.
People speculated that Bennett ignored him, but in a recent interview with Toohey, stone said he got on well with Bennett.

Yeah, would take the right kind of personality. AOB seems like the kind of bloke that would have a chip on his shoulder.

If the board wants to know how Madge is as a coach behind the scenes, other than watching Tigertown, they can speak to Hastings I guess.

If OB is to go, I feel sorry for him to be honest. He has taken up the Knights as his first NRL gig, and probably thought he could come in here with ideas and have instant success, probably thought given he has coached at the Storm and Roosters that players attitudes take care of themselves and he can bank on the players wanting to rip in every week, every session etc.

What he got was a team with the equivalent of depression, and he doesn't have the tools to dig them out of it.

The comment that he made on the weekend saying he plugs a hole and another opens up tells me he doesn't know how to drive the standards that are lacking at the Knights, and doesn't understand why they are lacking either.

If OB is to go, we need a coach that can drive culture in the club, can instill standards and hold the team to it.

If the team played all season with the attitude they showed a few weeks back, and a few other games over the season so far, OB wouldn't be going anywhere.
