Adam O'Brien replacement?

My take is he doesn't trust the guys he has there. Best example I can give is his use of Simi last year. It's like he had taken the decision that he was going to be that ball playing middle who could fill in a back line spot if needed. I'd have thought his running game would be very useful at the backend of the first half or with the game on the line, but he was literally sat on the bench for a ten minute cameo once the result was a foregone conclusion. He clearly didn't trust him, it did nothing for his development or confidence, and I believe we are now losing a very talented player because of it. Watch him fly under a guy who trusts him.

I guess I just disagree.

I’ve noticed the late game fatigue, but you only get 8 substitutions. You can’t take them all off.

I don’t think I’ll often look at the names on the bench and think “ah yep, 15 more Jack Hetherington minutes, that would have solved everything”.
It's almost like the coaching staff know a little more about coaching a team than those on this forum that watch the team for 80 minutes a week 😆

Yeah they're doing great. Definitely shouldn't be questioned at all

James shut down the forum mate!

It’s Morris.

The big thing which would most change our fortunes is getting better at integrating young players who’ve come through lower grades into firsts, and he has a proven track record of doing that.

He also had a lot of players publicly cracking the ****s when he got the sack so it’s not like he lost the dressing room. The board just saw Fitz as the next Robbo (and he very well might be, they’re very innovative and well drilled in attack).

We should have been the ones to sign Des…. I personally don’t think Madge is a better option than AOB and well there’s not many others left going around

So in the press conference he said that the teams lack of ability to shift to a plan B or move away from the script is a problem.

So is the team the problem or the coach?
