Adam O'Brien replacement?

Crazy to think you are all saying the same crap I have for a couple of years now, and I was (am) hated for being so 'negative'

Just a step ahead of you all and could see the **** dripping from the ceiling before it was even thrown

People don't get mad of you because of that, it's just you post things like "We suck, wooden spoon for us" which are rather pointless and don't add to the discussion.

Maybe management hired the wrong type of coach for what this club needs, went with the hype around OB being the next big thing. They can shoulder that blame.
It's a hard thing to predict. At the time the majority of us and obviously management thought AOB was the perfect candidate. Had the hype of being the best assistant coach around, but aside from that, we knew he was from that Melbourne system and spent time with the Roosters too. Just saturated in success. This was exactly what we needed after Browny couldn't get the team up past a certain level. We thought this was the hard nosed coach to get us to the next level.

It hasn't worked. So what is the right kind coach? Do we need to go back the other way now and find a coach who can strip it all back, be one of the boys and give them a cuddle when needed? I don't know what the right answer is and I don't think it's a sure thing with any guy. Just kind of need to get lucky with a guy that our players can respond to.

So much of it with coaches is a bit of luck, finding the right person at the right time.

if i want to read mindless negative dribble without anything constructive i head to the knights facebook page, i come here to see how invested fans see things. you my friend are blurring the lines.

Anyone watched dawn of the dolphins? Interesting comment from Wayne to a sponsor talking about when things go wrong and turn to **** it’s a long way to rebuild. Interesting considering the end of his tenure here.
i watched the first ep and rather enjoyed it. I liked where he said ponga wont want to play 5/8 😅. it was quite evident aswell that the roster management is all bennett so if the dolphins end up a mess when he leaves theres nowhere to hide for him.

Nah you just can't handle the fact we have a terrible club with a terrible roster...

We will be collecting more spoons before we win a comp

Doesn’t look like it’s taken Ezra Mam and Reece Walsh much ‘time to gel’ as a combination. Played 60 mins together and looking like a veteran combination.

Blokes here are so delusional they look for any excuse to make them feel good.

Worse than our coach!

Top 5 excuses from members in this board for our club losing consistently.

1. AOB
2. REF
3. TIME TO GEL
4. INJURIES
5. KNIGHTSUNITE

To be fair Walsh is slotting into an established team and he had the whole pre-season. Reynolds and Mam aren’t working out their combination with each other and with Walters/Paix, Carrigan, etc. They only have one new combo to think about, Walsh is the only new guy (but also he was a Broncos junior & has played with a fair few of these guys already).

He’s also just a better player than Lachie lol.
