I did say the past few seasons and yes you are right our spines form last year was shocking, but i did expect bigger things from Clifford and Clune that year. I was talking about the years of Pearce, Klemmer, Ponga etc alomst the NSW pack at one point

You cant agree us Knights fans getting frustrated with results time after time. Soo its far from a reality check
 
I'm still on board for AOB, as he needs a season where the spine and top fwd pack don't have half/full season out due to injury. Need to see at the LEAST this year high intensity and competitive in every game. No rolling over like last year and like it's been said, have to win or at least be super competitive at home, no matter the opposition.

I still think AOB has suffered from not having someone like Parr in control, getting foundations settled and right direction, but if the team has a stinker of a season again, that to suggest team just can't do it under him and needs to change. Probably with Mcdermott taking over as i've heard players have really been drawn to him this off season. I think McDermott will have a positive affect on AOB, enough to get some good results out of the team.

AOB has had 4 years and we are looking no better. In fact I feel like we are getting worse.

I think that's the issue , we look no better . When you are leaving the ground ( after yet another loss ) all supporters talking the same thing . Venting about our playing "style" wondering if they even train together ?😀. When Brown was there you would go not expecting a win , hoping it wasn't a blowout , happy if we were still in the game at half time . I remember when O'Brien came here he said he was happy with the squad & he was confident he could do something with it 😳. You go to the footy for an afternoons entertainment . We are just not getting it . Be interesting the see the atmosphere v the Dolphins if we lose this weekend . Newcastle to some degree is still a working class town . With interest rates and cost of living increase I feel another year like last year & memberships will take a big dive .

I think memberships are up around 15k or so.

We are in difficult economic times at present, many people are struggling to pay for essential expenses.

If we have another disappointing season, I think our memberships will be impacted, you just can’t expect people to pay hundreds of dollars each year to watch a team that keeps underperforming year after year.
 
It wont matter what we think or want as fans.

Journos are already gunning for him. By round three if we are 0-3 the news machine will be applying plenty of pressure.

Can you imagine finishing the season with the journos hounding him the whole way through and Gardner/Parr not pulling the trigger?

We are already quietly laughed at as a club.

We should be more like Saints fans holding up signs at the ground, oust doust etc.

I know our family didn’t renew this year for the first time in well over a decade.
 
Everyone knows Obi is under pressure this year ( including himself ) wonder what type of coach the players are seeing at training ? Someone who looks like he knows the answers ? Or a dead man walking ?Hard to believe in the later!
