I just think it's crazy he's suddenly saying it's going to take a long time, if we'd made the finals this year it would have papered over the cracks, we need to make a long term plan or some crap ... umm, what have you been doing the last three years?! Were 2020 and 21 just papering over cracks? I mean, I think they were, but why haven't you done anything about it?!
Also worrying that he keeps saying we train great and he doesn't see these performances coming. Not sure how that lines up with his other comments ...

**** me dead mate, I’m in southwest Qld, I don’t see them train and I won’t even watch a game anymore they are that disgraceful, yet even I can see these performances coming each week! If he pulls himself any harder he’s going to get third degree friction burns.

I've maintained since before the end of last season that us making the finals was a bad outcome for the club. Because it was pretty obvious we had absolutely no chance of going anywhere near the GF.
Last seasons tail-end 'success' was the perfect excuse for the club to hold onto a failing coach. Another season down the drain.

Exactly like the Broncos being dragged into the finals by David Fifita and Payne Haas in 2019. All of a sudden it was a successful season and Seibold got another year.

We are most of the way through the season and once the rot set in I havent seen any variation in playing style.
Just the same on repeat.
He really does look lost, in the press conference he said they let Kiraz go because they had Edrick and he he didn't actually realise Kiraz was that good. So did he honestly think Lee was capable of playing a whole season, given his history, or that he was a long term solution. That whole scenario sums him up, doesn't realise the potential of a kid in his system and is banking on an injury prone player who is leaving at the end of the year. So we have let players go that weren't good enough for our team and they find a first grade spot in a better team, truly laughable.
