Adam O'Brien replacement?

Just watched the presser, i dont think he was talking himself up at all... more saying this job is tougher than i first thought this club has some serious issues with attitude.

He knows what it takes, its just not working as quickly as he thought.

The roster is terrible this year and he is right, if we finished 8th it would be the same result as the last couple of years, mean nothing...

I know fans want to play finals and making the finals is important but a top 8 system is stupid teams that dont deserve to play finals play to make them feel better and the nrl gets more money from more tv games.

It actually shocked me that he didn't say his usual ********, I was taken completely aback by It.

He almost had me sold not to see his *** kicked to the kerb.

If they train great why the **** are they not converting that to a 80 minute performance on the field every week.

I don't think he Is retarded enough to have the players keep telling what he wants to hear after every training session and not pick up on It after 20 rounds that Is exactly what they're doing.
 
Tigers and Dogs have recently sacked their head coaches but are having a renaissance under their interim coaches in Noddy and Potter. If we did the same with AOB, who do people think is currently on our coaching team who would take over and have a chance at having similar late season form?

100% not taking the **** i just had a conservation with him as he was leaving. He said he was just here to watch kyle, he laughed at me for coming from brisbane to watch them he said our halfs are rubbish and that our season would not get any better. If You are optimistic you could take that as he is coming next season with better halfs. He did seem like a lovely bloke.

So did he honestly think Lee was capable of playing a whole season, given his history, or that he was a long term solution. Coach not the only one to blame for retention though lest we forget.
 
Once coaches start talking about how they know what works and it takes time, that's when you know they're feeling the pressure and feel they need to defend themselves. Unfortunately O'Brien had resorted to those sort of comments already pretty early on this season. Today is nothing really new, just becoming more defensive now talking about grand finals because he knows things aren't looking good. You can understand things taking time to work, but there's no excuses for why we are as bad as we are. There's more going on than just things taking time to work.
 
Funny how one of the reporters asked O’Brien If was still confident In himself and abilities.

I have a feeling the knives are slowly starting to sink In to him If that was a local reporter, Nathan Brown 2.0

I really like his commentary on Fox, he makes some very 'common sense' observations about the game at hand and what each team should be doing. He doesn't get emotional and seems very analytical, level headed and calm, not like some of the other callers

If you don’t have a stake in the game it’s easy to be level headed and calm. But I take your point.

Maybe someone left field like a Buderus.

Can’t say any excite me greatly.
