Dragons v Manly, going to be interesting to see what happens with this game.

I think the changes will help the Dragons, but Manly should walk this in.

Foz, I think, will be a great coach long term, but straight into a head coaching role...maybe this year will be OK, but I'd be shocked if the wheels don't fall off at some point due to the lack of experience.

That said, AOB had 10 years under two of the best coaches in the history of the NRL, won 4 grand finals (apparently) and left the Knights a basketcase....so what do I know.

Actually he didn't leave the knights a basket case. A basket case wouldnt have turned around the second he left.

He did a hell of a lot of good, just had a poor game plan/ coaching style.

Agreed, he didn’t leave the place a basket case, he was just a impressively crap coach

Bennett left the club in a worse state than AOB did. It was definitely time for AOB to move on, no question — but he also did a lot of good while he was here.

I don’t get why people keep trying to tear him down. He’s moved on, and the club he spent six years at was able to kick on under a new coach — not fall into multiple wooden spoons with an ageing, overpaid roster.

At some point, surely people can just let it go instead of kicking down in the bloke?
