2026 Recruitment And Retention

Cows offered 450 and we have offered 600k per year plus an extra year.

1.3m to 2.2m over four years.

To me great player but overs
And you still don’t think that will be enough to get him as playing 5/8 is worth more than a million dollars?
Plus big chance his current assistant coach would be his head coach here

If we are offering more money and one more year. Also he has family on the central coast. He will play 9 but very strong possibility he’ll play in the halves. You would think he signs with us.

The only advantage cows have is he is ā€œguaranteedā€ 6. He is playing along side Dedand. Brown in Newy.

Geez, 600k overs for the player who played last night? That's still cheap imo.

If the market were halves starved he'd be fetching upwards of $700-800k and the only reason he isnt getting that rn is because of a lack of FG minutes in the halves at the Roosters.

If he walks into a our squad as the leading playmaker for 600k we're absolutely laughing. And no I don't think the next coach will play Sharpe at 7 infront of Smith

2.2 over four comes out to 550, but gee that’s a lot for someone where the plan is to convert them into a & have them job share with Arthur. Something not adding up there.

If we can afford to get into 600K territory we should have been competing with Manly for Fogarty IMO.

I don’t know this reeks of having real doubts about Sharpe as a half and looking for an out.

I agree with this, he’d be very dangerous with early ball. Gagai would also be our safest wing option & he’s strong in yardage.
Could use him how they used turbo in attack during origin. Played right centre but popped up in attack on the left regularly. Sort of roaming at times.
