2026 Recruitment And Retention

Marzhew had a slow start to 2024. But he came good in the end. He’s stated how he came back unfit, etc. He said this year he kept his fitness up by all accounts he was looking fit in preseason. At his best he is as good as Brian To’o.

If him and Best stay on the park they are a lethal left edge combo. Now we have our man Sharp on the right, we are dangerous on both edges.

It was his first time having a shortened pre-season because of playing internationals last year, so a bit of a learning curve for him, I think!

Even with Sunia Turuva moving on is Jenkins any chance of playing FG again at Penrith? To'o, Tago and Alamoti will lock down one wing and two centre spots and the Panthers have both Jesse and Casey McClean signed long-term. both look like guns, not to mention Dane Laurie.

Jenkins blew a starting spot in FG at the Knights, he might not get another shot.

If Sharpe works out at 6 I'm backing Schiller to lock up that wing spot, we got a free upgrade there.

I'm also backing Hetherington to have a big year, surprise many people and earn an extension. Either that or get sent off for knocking off Reed Mahoney's block...either way I'm good.

IDK, I'd be interested to know what went wrong there.

Although, he's not the first to come to the Knights and choke on a chance to be a first grader Clifford and Shibasaki immediately spring to mind (I'd say we should stop buying from the Cows but for Ponga).
