Most impressed by Manuleleua so far. Good sign for McEwen & Salesa-Leaumoana if he’s considered 3rd in that pecking order.
 
I suspect all the good players are having a shower and getting ready for a late run in firstgrade now

Parra have also taken off all the good players and the game is ging downhill fast.

First 30 minutes was pretty decent though - better than I thought.

Fletcher Hunt was very strong in contact. He still looks skinny, but was bumping guys off easily.
 
Going to miss the second half and looks like it's the 4th or 5th stringers at this point anyway so here's the few plays that stood out from the potential first graders in the first half (apologies to the try scorers):

2 Manuleleua cutout pass linebreak assist
3 Hunt intercept and runs over a defender
 
12 - 0 - I think it was Liam Sutton
The big 21 looks impressive - could be Bailey Carmichael - he's bumping off forward after forward and making big ground

soft try to Parra - our middles are out of puff and the little hooker just strolled down the middle without a hand on him.

Knights unchanged 1-28 by the looks. 24-28 all played in the first half of the NSW Cup trial prior.

Brock Greacen made a big break down the middle and prop Jack Cullen went with him, got the pass and scored
 
Lost video for the last 2 minutes - but final score 20 - 8- 5 tries to 2 - no kicks attempted
 
Best were Ty Thompson, Frank Manulea, Cody Hopwood, Liam Sutton and the 20 (winger) and 21 (prop)

Ty Thompson was getting quick play the balls, offloading in traffic, doing more runs than any other forward, but maybe falling off tackles a bit too easily.
He looked a class above this standard.
 
Just watching the players warm up on tv ... and ... what in god's name is going on with haircuts these days?!

Need to find out who 20 was. dead set Armstrong clone! Though Grecean was pretty impressive too
