The kicker is a player with the ball in hand and can be legally tackled. Any tackle that is legal on a ball runner should be legal on a kicker, with the exception of diving at the legs which should be penalised as dangerous.

The kicker does not have the right to kick the ball untouched, if a tackler can legally get to them then they can legally tackle them in the motion of kicking, within regular tackling rules.

Cleary should have seen the tackler coming, and been forced in to running the ball, finding an alternate kicker, stepping around the tackler etc. Instead, Cleary receives the ball knowing the rules are heavily weighted to him, so he kicks the ball regardless knowing he is likely to get a penalty.

Completely agree. I can see players starting to dummy to kick then running it knowing the on coming tackler will likely pull out.
 
everyone with competent skills looks good in a team doing well. In a team always on the back foot (knights) if you cant make post contact metes/ break tackles/leap above the pack you will look average. I think it's as simple as that. You put Nick Meaney in the centers for the knights and he'll look **** compare to how he plays at the Storm.
 
Had a look at our draw and dont think we will win another game. Hope im wrong but a lot of away games and tough games. Maybe play Parra in spoonbowl in that round. Hooray!

There is a world we beat the Cowboys, now I think I’m probably one of the most pessimistic when thinking of the Knights winning games but the Cowboys are nothing special literally.

I feel like if we can match the cows forwards (I think we can) our backline is pretty good so I think we can win, just needs good clean ball and well to hold on to the ball as well.

Someone also needs to teach Gagai positioning as a fullback he has been caught twice in two games from kicks in behind as he just isn’t fast
 
Klein strikes again.

Hess never left the field, and yet won't be playing any games for the rest of the season.

It should have been immediately obvious to Kennedy, and Klein has failed, again, too.
 
Leniu behaves exactly like the type of loser that would get destroyed in an actual fight.

Trashy loser.

He should put his money where his mouth is and fight some South Americans. He would get wrecked.
