Evah McEwen has been put in the starting side for Samoa. They have her named at prop, but that seems crazy.
 
Evah McEwen 70 fantasy points and an amazing 15 tackle breaks. Big tackle busting runs from her led to the 2 come back tries to steal the win.
They didn't use her much, but her defence was brutal.
 
Plenty of emotion in the anthems, Haka and Sipi Tau leading into this test.

Leo looked like a man possessed!!!
 
Great start Tonga! The Kiwis wouldn't have wanted to give them a sniff ... this could be interesting ...
 
NZ blown off the park. Whoever at the NZRL who decided to sack Maguire ... then turned down Wayne Bennett ... needs to lose their job. But also, difficult with about two or three different teams worth of players missing for the Kiwis lol.
 
Leo did start off ok to be fair, a few good runs and fast play the balls. All this possession and territory in Tonga's favour though, the floodgates have opened!
